Our Story

Jourdan Insulation Company was founded in 1981 by William (Billy) Jourdan with a focus on helping Industrial and commercial insulation plant maintenance. Working mainly in Central and eastern NC, he expanded into insulating within schools, hospitals, and power plants. Billy built JIC with a reputation of honesty and quality work until his passing in 2000. Williams' son, Billy Jourdan, had worked alongside his father since 1983 and took over the business in 1999, serving as President today. He has since grown and expanded JIC into the industrial sector, specializing in food processing and pharmaceutical manufacturing plants. 45+ years and counting, JIC is proud to have the 3rd generation addition of Nicholas Jourdan. With his degree in construction engineering, JIC looks forward to much more growth in every area of the construction industry.
